Traveling in Alaska
Alaska is unlike any place you have ever visited.
It is 57 miles east of Siberia,
has29 volcanoes
Over 1/2 the world's glaciers,
is twice the size of Texas
encompasses 86,400 sq. miles,
contains 33,000 coastline miles
(more than the rest of the U.S. combined),
has the only US capital not accessible by road,
holds 16 or the 20 tallest mountains in No. America.
and has a rich Alaska native & "gold rush" heritage

It's a big state. It takes time to enjoy its diversified culture & heritage, parks, forests, cities, villages, mountains, lengthy and beautiful seacoast, & myriad wildlife found in the arctic interior.

Alaska Central Reservations' travel planners are Alaskans. They are familiar with the properties, attractions and activities recommended, and the time it takes to enjoy them. Our goal is to make sure every visitor has exactly the experience they want to have, within their budget, when they travel to Alaska.

May we provide you with a suggested itinerary & help you plan your Alaska adventure?

Working with Alaska Central Reservations.
We do not charge for our planning services or information.
If you would like to work with us we will send you a very short questionnaire and ask you to return it to us, by e-mail, by fax or mail. The advantage to the questionnaire is that it provides you with an outline of activities and attractions available in Alaska and allows you to choose the ones that you feel you would most enjoy.
The questionnaire tells us how much time you have or can allot for your Alaskan adventure, and gives us a good idea of the type of accommodations, transportation, attractions and activities with which you would be most comfortable. As promptly as possible, we return a suggested itinerary to you, personalized with your preferences.

How does Alaska Central Reservations get paid for its service?
If you like our recommendations, we hope that you will continue to work with us and allow us to make reservations in Alaska and/or the Yukon Territory for you. Like any travel planner, we receive commissions for reservations that we make. And, because we work on volume we occasionally know of bargains or discounted pricing is available to us that we pass along to you.

Our Assurance: We recommend all possible Alaskan and Yukon Territory vendors that meet your personal specification, providing they meet our standards. We have been in the visitor service business in Alaska and Yukon Territory since 1989. The geographic territory is large, but it is sparsely populated. We not only visit the properties, activities and attractions that we recommend on a regular basis, we also listen to previous customers, and other vendors in like businesses. It is not difficult for Alaska Central Reservations to know which proprietors will serve you well.

While we do not guarantee that you will have a 5-star experience on a 2-star budget, we do assure that you will receive the best value for the money you spend, from camping to safaris and from cabins to resorts. We tell you exactly what to expect from each experience before you arrive.

We do not use the information you provide for future mailings and do not sell or otherwise share your preferences or personal information with others.
